“We” in this document refers to Daniel Graziotin and his website.

We do not collect any personal data.

Our website is static. This means that the website consists of documents that your browser downloads. There is no further interaction, no server-generated content, no particular function offered other than serving static HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and picture files. There is no visitor-generated data at all. This simplicity allows us to limit the type of data we collect from you, none of which is personal.

Furthermore, we aim to never send any visitor information to any 3rd party service. Your data should stay within our servers. In case you notice third party servers used by our website, please assume it is unintended behavior and contact us. We will remove the relevant code as soon as possible.

To serve you the website, we use Cloudflare Pages. That is, your data never reaches our servers. Refer to Cloudflare Privacy Policy for what information they collect (minimal and non-personally identifiable, see the Analytics section below for some details).

Embedded content from other websites

We may use content from 3rd party which might track you, for example a Youtube video. We try to never do this.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

Our analytics system is privacy-friendly, GDPR compliant, and it does not collect personal data.

We use Cloudflare Privacy-first Web Traffic Analytics to monitor our website usage and limited information related to our visitors. This system is based on server logs at Cloudflare’s edges, with no need for cookies, scripts, or trackers. There is no information stored in the browser.

According to Cloudflare: the following data in bold is gathered and displayed (the remainder of this section is sourced from Cloudflare):

• Visits - A visit is defined as a page view that originated from a different website, or direct link. Cloudflare checks where the HTTP referer does not match the hostname. One visit can consist of multiple page views.
• Page views - A page view is defined as a successful HTTP response with a content-type of HTML.
• Requests - An HTTP request. A typical page view requires many requests.
• Data Transfer - Total HTTP data transferred in requests.

Cloudflare allows to filter each metric by Referer, Host, Country, Path, Status code, Origin status code, Browser, Operating system, and Device type. Hence, this non-identifiable data is also gathered by Cloudflare.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with anyone, but Cloudflare collects some anonymized data.

We only perform encrypted backups, but we don’t have identifying data in our backups anyway.

The contents of our website are backed up regularly in encrypted form to third party services, which are not able to access it. The contents of this website are static, so they do not have any data provided by you. We do not retain any identifiable data in any case.
