How to disable Unity default multi-touch gestures in Ubuntu


You might want to disable Unity built-in 3-fingers and 4-fingers multitouch handling. Migrating to a new Server

I am currently migrating website to a new server. Expect some up-and-down due to DNS changes. The website should completely be OK tomorrow (2013-02-03).
Other stuff will also be moved in the subsequent days. I expect some other up-and-down during the next week, due to me doing dumb stuff with configuration files.

New (git) announcements system

Starting from today, I will point out interesting git commits for my projects, using Standard Theme‘s Link posts. My first git announcement is regarding two new features for mbpfan. The micro-posts let you download latest mbpfan-git release by clicking on the post title. I might use this system to report interesting things I find around, as well.

A new cycle has begun

I feel like I have just closed an important cycle of my life. Since the 1st of October, I am enrolled as a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. While my Ph.D. will only start from the 7th of January, I am already working in the S4FS research team. Many things are already coming out, that is why I have just opened the research category on this website...

Dr. Daniel Graziotin is a senior researcher (Akademischer Rat) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His research interests include human, behavioral, and psychological aspects of empirical software engineering, studies of science, and open science. He is associate editor at the Journal of Open Research Software and academic editor at the Research Ideas and Outcomes (RIO) journal. Daniel was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship for postdoctoral researchers in 2017, the European Design Award (bronze) in 2016, and the Data Journalism Award in 2015. He received his Ph.D. in computer science at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.
